The garden seemed oddly out of place in the city. The few flowers flowing, yet writhing in the heat. They prayed for rain, oh how they wanted rain. The grass was lush and emerald in color, but also prayed for the oncoming rains to put a meek end to the blistering summer. Lost and alone this small paradise seemed. It matched her. Abandoned and alone. Lost and confused. The copper and white husky lay under a rusted and sun-baked bench. Her cerulean eyes watching the lonely garden with sympathy. Her body was lithe and feminine, but muscles were visible beneath her copper-toned fur. She was young, and her apricot hued nose quivered as she breathed in the different scent of the garden. People shuffled past, and she was thankful. Humans frightened her, for their hands were rough and they ways queer. Sabure, the young husky was. Her name meant sand, obvious of her copper coat. Erect ears quivered at a distant horn. She wandered if it had been a street dog the car had encountered, or simply a busy street. Sighing, she closed her eyes and laid her head on her paws.

Sabure was a depressed creature. Even though she had a habit of flirting, she was still calm and level-headed. A very sympatric creature with a kind heart. She was quite the opposite of many hardy street dogs. She didn't understand the fighting between pets and mutts. It seemed ignorant. Evens o, she understood the hate towards people. She had been abandoned neglected. Humans had torn her from family and into a world of injured. Why had that ma always beat her? It had happened every time he and the woman had gotten into a fight. It confused her, Shivering; she looked to her bruised side. She could have a broken rib, for the pain was searing through her. Thrown from a car, she had hit the pavement hard. Whimpering, she lifted her head. She look longingly toward a dumpster, but was in fear of approaching it, for humans were gathered near. Curling up under the bench, she sighed. The heat was harsh, as she was designed for the cold. Lips parted as she panted, glancing around for some liquid refreshment. Not seeing any, she pouted. Laying her head back on her paws, she decided to wait for sunset when the humans were not out.
